Condo cleaning in Miami: tasks and access

A practical South guide · Local edition

Condo cleaning starts before the team arrives. As well as describing the rooms, confirm access with management. Each building may have different provider procedures.

The checklist inside the apartment

Define kitchen and bathroom tasks, flooring and surfaces needing special care. Specify interior windows, blinds or the balcony. Exterior access and work at height need a separate assessment.

Remove documents and delicate objects from work areas. Explain whether pets are present and where they will stay. Point out anything the team must not move.

Coordinating with the building

Check permitted hours, provider registration, parking and elevator use. If management requests documentation, tell the provider before confirming. Do not assume the team can enter without registration.

A proposal that avoids confusion

Send the scope and access conditions together. Ask for the quote to distinguish apartment cleaning from shared areas or other spaces managed by the building.

Common question

Does the provider clean exterior windows? Only when that work is included and can use an appropriate method and access.
